Annette Brooke MP visited Corfe Hills School in October to help students with their studies. She met a group of sixth-form girls participating in the Health and Social Care A level course. As this is an area close to Annette's heart, she could talk with considerable expertise about subjects ranging from nurses' pay to the scope of public healthcare and job shortages within the industry. She also agreed to contact health secretary Patricia Hewitt, regarding some of the students' enquiries. No doubt this will prove extremely valuable to the students when writing their coursework.
Annette revealed, "It was wonderful to go to Corfe Hills and help the students with their studies. I hope I gave them some insight on issues of health and social care".
