Parents will struggle to find school holiday childcare - Brooke

Commenting on today's [Wednesday] Daycare Trust report, which describes holiday childcare as a 'postcode lottery', Liberal Democrat Children and Families Spokesperson, Annette Brooke said:

"Finding good, affordable childcare is going to be a real struggle for many families during the school holidays.

"Some parents find that they are better off quitting their jobs to look after their children. This undermines everything the Government has been saying about getting people back to work.

"The Government needs to ensure that every parent has access to high quality childcare, no matter where they are in the country."
