Annette Brooke MP has planted a tree at the Tatman organic patch in Poole; the tree was planted for Greenpeace to protest against the proposed expansion of Heathrow to include a third runway. The tree planted was symbolically twinned with Sispon, which is a Village next to Heathrow and home of the Cox Apple. The Village would be destroyed if the third runway is built.

Annette Brooke said "I was pleased to make this gesture against the expansion at Heathrow and to contribute to the fantastic work of the Tatman organic patch."

Annette Brooke MP is also an Airplot owner. Airplot is a scheme designed to halt further expansion of Heathrow buy buying up land around the runways so no expansion can take place.

"The effect of the new runway will be devastating to the local habitat and I am glad that so many people are making an effort to stop this" said local resident Daniel Berman.

If you are a resident of the constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
