Mid Dorset and North Poole MP Annette Brooke yesterday (25th November) showed her support in Parliament for the White Ribbon campaign, an organisation which aims to ensure that men take more responsibility for reducing the level of violence against women.
Pictured here with fellow Lib Dem MP's Sandra Gidley and John Leech Annette said "I am showing my support today for the White Ribbon campaign as I think that it is a big problem that needs to be brought to the wider attention of the public.
Initiatives such as 'blow the whistle', which used the influence of football clubs to condemn both violence against women, and also the culture of silence that surrounds the problem have done so much to help the cause and I am proud to be involved."
