Home-Start South East Dorset has marked their 15th Anniversary by announcing that Annette Brooke will become a patron to the charity.
Commenting Annette said 'I am honoured to become patron for Home-Start South East Dorset as I have long admired the services they bring to local families and our communities. It will be an exciting year ahead and I am looking forward to becoming thoroughly involved in the fantastic work of Home Start with families and children across South East Dorset.'
Home-Start offers advice, support and friendship to families with young children. Their experienced volunteers visit parents to help with children, offer practical help or just a friendly face to talk too.
Local Scheme Manager, Wendy Staples says that "The board of trustees and I are delighted that Annette has agreed to be our patron. Since our inception in 1995 she has always shown an interest in our organisation and the vital work we do supporting families in the local community".
