Beryl Ezzard
Born in Purbeck, Beryl downsized to Wareham after her retirement. She is very passionate about our local area and has been representing residents in the ward since 2004.
Beryl understands the concerns of residents, she has been an central member of the Purbeck Transport Action Group and the Purbeck Community Rail Partnership for many years, promoting public transport and “ active travel”: cycling & walking in Purbeck. Beryl is also an advocate for the Swanage Railway to have a permanent link to Wareham branch-line; relieving road congestion on the A351. Lobbying the Rail Minister, MP’s, and DC to support and fund this long awaited project.

Ryan Holloway
Ryan was raised in Sandford, where he attended the local school, and has lived in the Purbeck area all of his life. He completed an apprenticeship with a local Wareham engineering company, which set him off on a career within the engineering sector, now running his own small local business.
He is an advocate for supporting local businesses. He has long supported the need for more apprenticeships in the area, to give young people more opportunities close to home. Ryan has been a Town Councillor in the Purbeck area for 3 years prior to representing Wareham and its surrounding area on Dorset council for the past five years. He has the experience to get things done. Outside of being a Councillor, Ryan also volunteered for the local HM Coastguard.
